Steven Karapanagiotidis
Steven Karapanagiotidis is a versatile and accomplished musician who joined the VAS teaching team five years ago, following over a decade of being part of the VAS family. Trained extensively in guitar by Casey Newbold-Kerr, in bands by Troy Grech, and in vocals by Ricky Muscat, Steven has developed a diverse musical skill set that he passionately shares with his students.
Education, Skills & Experience
Steven holds a Certificate III and IV in Music, a Diploma of Music Performance in Guitar, and a Bachelor of Music Composition. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Teaching at Swinburne University. His dedication to excellence was highlighted in 2017 when he achieved the highest mark in Australia for Rockschool London Grade 8 Guitar.
With extensive experience in composition and sound production, Steven has worked with various bands and acoustic acts, showcasing his versatility across all music styles. His calm and patient teaching approach makes him a standout instructor, helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals.
Beyond his teaching, Steven is a professional Greek dancer, performing at premier venues and festivals across Australia. He also showcases his broad artistic talents by playing in a Kiss tribute band called "Crazy Nights.”
